No, no - leave the colours as they are after you digitally stitch the nine images together.

Leave in the offset joins as well (e.g., the horizontal break across the Twin Towers adds a lot of extra meaning).

Then maybe add a b&w (or sepia) image of a NY crowd behind the panorama images?

Sometimes our brain appreciates a collage more.

But I agree: the panorama is kinda cool!
