A consequence of this position:

The phenomenological features of subjective experience, the “what it’s like” to BE that organism can never be fully translated into objective, reductive-physicalist vocabulary/statements, there will always be some loss or change of meaning, and such a materialist account will only be able to provide an imperfect description of the subjective character of experience.
