A busy week for our #research team starting to analyse the data just in from our #CSIRO #dive team’s 34th annual #survey of #tropical #RockLobster in #TorresStrait. These stunning 3 yr old spiny #lobster migrate out of Torres Strait to spawn each year, walking an incredible 480km to breeding grounds - I think of them as #Australia ‘s wildebeest equivalent 😂 #PanulirusOrnatus #ThursdayIsland #AnimalColouration #StockAssessment #fisheries
