4/ Finally, as you can see in the picture, we're using the #paperpot transplanter system for greenhouse cultivation and transplanting.

For the size of the garden it's a lifesaver. It's not cheap but really reduces the time we spend. If we spend 30 minutes doing hand transplanting, we can do the same in 5-10min using the transplanter. Especially great for alliums, lettuce, some brassicas, basil etc.

3 more beds transplanted. Chinese cabbage, Bok Choi and red broccoli. Using the #paperpot transplanter.

We've got 90 beds overall, each 10m X 0.75m.

Anyone doing no-dig market gardening in a dry climate using paperpot chains? I'm investigating the best mulching materials (no long fibres, no seeds). Any experiences out there with mulching in hot, dry climate and no-dig with compost?

I'll be experimenting with sawdust and ground up straw, plus planting more shade trees.
