A few weeks ago my therapist said I should do something to treat myself or give myself a gift so I ordered 3 #paphiopedilum #orchids. The grower waited for temperatures here to be warm enough so I just received them today. I'm both excited and delighted to have them. It's so interesting to me how people become interested in, even obsessed with a particular subject. Lately I find myself thinking about a certain kind of orchid almost nonstop. I only have to do a few searches online to find others with a similar obsession, and books on the topic selling for a hundred dollars or more. The obsession rose spontaneously in me. Why? It's comforting but curious to know it has claimed others before me. #orchids #paphiopedilum #fixations
