Even with upgrade discounts, the bargain-basement version of Fusion is $10 more expensive than the top-end version of Parallels. But this does cut the pricing roughly in half. Now I need to chew this over.

Do not forget to activate the #NetworkConditioner (no matter which OS you are hosting)!
Otherwise you will have very slow network connections, be it between the #Host and the #VM and also to the internet.

I turned off all the unnecessary apps in Settings, Apps, Startup, shutdown the VM and quit #Parallels.
Then, using a #macOS shortcut, I launched Notepad.
Time to start the app from the Mac desktop to clicking in the Windows app?
10 seconds...flat. And that includes loading Parallels.
If you can afford it (MBPs are _expensive_), IMHO the best Windows machines are...wait for it...#Apple Silicon Macs.

For anyone who wants to play Mars First Logistics on a #Mac, it runs buttery smooth at 4k on my Mac Studio (M2 Max) in #Parallels (Windows 11 ARM). When I first started it, there were invisible/glitchy textures, but those were fixed by adding this boot flag (in Parallels):
video.untrimmed_dynamic_cbuffers=1
I highly recommend this #game if you enjoy vehicle builders (Besiege) or #LEGO. :D

I disagree, not supporting #Mac apps directly on the #VisionPro is a major loss. #visionOS needs more #macOS DNA than iOS DNA if this platform is to become truly successful.
As a compromise, perhaps #Apple could figure out a way to offer a #Coherence mode for streaming macOS apps to the headset instead of confining them inside the virtual 4K Mac display. Similar in function to the way #Parallels allows #Windows apps to run outside the virtual OS display.
