British #Paralympian John McFall, who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident, has been announced as Europe's first openly #disabled #astronaut as part of #ESA's class of 2022.

He's joined by, among others, British #astronomer Rosemary Coogan, a space scientist at French space agency CNES.
