Apparently we're supposed to do an #introduction so here goes.

I am in my 40s and thoroughly lost.
I love #aikido although a series of recent family events and (non-related) injuries has kept me out of the dojo.
I am a #freemason and a lover of the Craft.
I play the #guitar acceptably, the #violin at a first year level, and the #ukelele at a comfortable level. I hope to learn #piano soon enough. I love just about all #music without exception. Some music I have to take in smaller quantities than others.
I am a student of #magic in both senses, and practice #thelema
I am #queer and less certain of what that means in my 40s than I was in my 20s.
I want desperately to fly, be that #parasailing #hanggliding or possibly even getting my PPL, but that all needs to wait till I have my finances straightened out.

I grew up in a radical Christian right wing household, joined the army etc, and am, in my 40s, pretty much the polar opposite of who I was raised to be. Despite this, I am still close with my family.

I believe in the power of love and of non-violence, but I also understand that there are times when that doesn't work, and am prepared to do what must be done, should the need arise. My goal is to ensure it never does.

I am a fan of #drag and a #nerf, and do not believe these to be in conflict, quite the contrary, I know a number of trans people who broke out of their egg through drag. I believe all people should be able to express who they are however they choose, provided they aren't harming others.

I just want the world to be a kinder, weirder, more creative, more loving place.
