Speaking of the cycling: I really appreciate that the para events in the track cycling world championships are fully integrated with the non-disabled events. And that the coverage (at least on Eurosport) treats all events exactly the same.

No inspiration porn, no 'they're so brave!' bullshit, no ignoring para races in order to cut to the studio etc. Just full coverage of all races, whether para or not, as being the best racers in the world at what they do.

Compared to where parasport coverage was just a few years ago, this is such a positive change.

#Memories from my time in competitive #paraequestrian #sports . I did mainly #dressage & pole bending races. Occasionally, Western barrel racing too. These two photos are from training camp (North Saanich) & #BCGames competition(Powell River). Riding Angel, a pure white Quarter/Arabian mix. I rode a big Haflinger, before switching to Angel.

#Curling experts… watching yesterday’s Leduc mixed-doubles #Wheelchair curling and were baffled by the scoring… It appeared that they were not tracking number of points but rather simply the winner of each end, but we can’t find anything in any rules anywhere about this.

Please help if you can. Thank youuuuuu!
