Taking a look at Parcel (https://parceljs.org). It looks interesting, but I'm a little unsure after my past frustrations with similar products. Any thoughts form the rest of the fediverse? #rust #javascript #parcel
Hmm, die #Hermes-#Paketverfolgung [#Tracking #Parcel] gibt im #JSON das Zeitfenster mit Millisekundengenauigkeit an:
Timeframe: {
From: "2023-08-17T13:10:06.736",
To: "2023-08-17T13:30:11"
}

Nachdem ich die #Parcel App dann geรถffnet hatte, sagte sie mir, dass mein Paket gerade in South Hackensack (New Jersey) angekommen ist. Da muss ich unbedingt mal hin... ๐
#Troopers23 is great! A lot of interesting talks.
And soon there will be first recordings available.
My favorite so far (because I worked on that project) is:
All your parcel are belong to us โ a talk about attacking #parcel tracking via #OSINT.
Gitlab Pages seems quite broken. It is serving css and js files with a MIME type that causes my browser to ignore them.
Anyone have a working Parcel project on Gitlab (NOT Github) pages that I can take a look at? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or there's a known work around?

It's time to work on the #cadastre, which means I have to boot into Windows 11. ๐
Our parcel data is pretty tightly bound to #ESRI's Parcel Fabric data model. Much as I prefer #FOSS whenever I can, I have to admit that the Parcel Fabric really works well.
Is anyone out there managing #parcel data in something else, FOSS or otherwise?
I know most of the time, the #parcel delivery in The Netherlands sucks ass. But just had a #DHL guy deliver a package, and old man so happy and kind that you can't help but #feelgood too ๐ฅฐ.
So they cรกn do it. If only they always hired people like this (and make it possible for them to deliver like this, as we all know ridiculous planning and under payment is a big part of the issue).
#parcel : a portion of anything taken separately
- French: colis
- German: das Paket
- Italian: pacchetto
- Portuguese: parcela
- Spanish: paquete

Oh lord, the existential horror and dread that reading the words "prepared for collection by Hermes" sends.
I am now preparing myself for an endless round of "where is my parcel"?
(and yes, I know they rebranded)
'It's coming today' - surely i'm not the only person that gets a small adrenaline jolt from those words. The anticipation has been prolonged due to the long weekend here in Victoria so it is even more exciting.

Me scanning with the camcorder of my laptop the barcode of a mountain bike sent by parcel, while trying to snatch it from me an anxious customer to whom I have told to wait.
Not going to renew #Parcel . I thought it was going to be the solution after using Deliveries since the beginning but the notification system has been horrible. Been getting delivered notifications hours after and sometimes a day later.
Recently switched to Aftershipโฆ besides the UX itโs been solid and also cross platform .
Found the parcel which which a courier company [spit] missed delivering to me yesterday, then was going to drop off at a local pick-up spot.
The info from them was so bad that I had to guess which newsagency they might've dropped it off at (luckily I knew the place from picking up a phone there years ago), rang it to confirm, then showed up with my passport. What a palaver.
I would really really like to be able to specify "Australia Post only" when ordering stuff online. Private courier companies are bloody awful, with almost invisible customer service access. With AP, if it's not delivered I can pick it up around the corner.
@actsukrit I also like #parcel #parceljs when I'm not feeling like using a full on framework. It's very simple to start with and just takes plain old HTML, JS, MD etc and packages it up into nice pre-processed, bundled, and minified static files.
