Sister and Brother-in-law joining Mum and I this morning. Time to book Dad's funeral. Sounds depressing I know but we will give him a good sendoff.

Our family is not religious so we will have a Celebrant organising the service. To me, that's what a funeral should be, a celebration of someone's life, not misery, doom and gloom.

I do not want anyone wearing black either. So depressing!

Family flowers only, everyone else can donate to #ParkinsonsUK 👍🏼

Already told Mum, I do not want anybody wearing black to my Dad's funeral. It's so morbid and bloody depressing. Celebrate a life, not mourn a death.
