Cracking ride this morning.
The weather is perfect. The sun shining and as I rode through the park I noticed lots of people gathering for what must be an alternative to the park run (which I thought was on Saturdays)

The water temperature at the lake has dropped a couple of degrees to 18, but the sun is shining and I enjoyed my swim around the island in just skins. I was treated to a fly-past by the kingfisher too, a glorious flash of vivid blue and orange quite low to the water. Absolutely glorious. What a way to spend an hour or so in the park.

Friends ‘round, cocktails & I’m #NowSpinning #Parklife by #Blur. This isn’t necessarily my favourite Blur album (that’d be S/T), but viewed objectively, this is likely their best, & probably the best album of the ‘90s. It has a decent pitch for being up their with the best British albums. Parklife, Girls & Boys, Century, Tracy Jacks, Badhead, To The End, & the achingly gorgeous This is a Low. That is a rare & rich collection of great songs.
