Both computers run Windows (10 and 11, respectively) and both Parsec and Duet do exactly what I want, but only on paid tiers. VirtualHere doesn't expose the pen either via AES nor MPP. @Evilpupu Thanks for the suggestion! I've got a windows gaming box that I normally use, but the MBP is the machine I use when I'm sitting my wife and she's watching TV. So another option is always cool.

I've used #Parsec too I just haven't taken the time to iron out the differences in resolutions between my ultrawide gaming monitor and my more traditional aspect ration mac screen.

I thought I could get around the external monitor limitation with #AirPlay, but it turns out you CAN'T ROTATE AIRPLAY MIRRORS. Also, they can't be 4K, so I can't even use my #Windows machine to stream the #Mac to the monitor it doesn't play nice with unless I want everything to be blurry.

My next step is going to be to install #Parsec on the Mac and have it render a BetterDummy display. I didn't want to have remote-control software on this laptop but it's either that or nothing.

@MattMerk May I ask what kind of remote desktop solution you're using? Is it cloud workstations or something for on-prem PCs?

We've tried a bunch of solutions and working from home works well for us, but since we're on Linux it feels like we're missing out on the supposedly best solutions out there: #Parsec's host is not available for Linux and #Teradici (now HP) doesn't support GeForce cards on Linux...

I meant to share this earlier, but I was able to get some pretty good gameplay out of Parsec from Windows 11 to macOS.

I might try this tomorrow...

I've already:
* configured vim
* installed #burpsuite
* installed misc dev tools and SDKs

I've long given up on trying to do audio video conferencing on multiple machines and instead use a capture card and dedicated machine for A/V.

Ultimately the solution is thin clients and virtualizing everything. AFAIK #parsec is currently the leading tool.

#parsec is amazing. #NewYearsEve doing #WheelOfFortune on #wii (via #Dolphin) with two other buddies while a #Facetime convo goes on via second screen

Sometimes it's the little things that make a #HappyNewYear

#parsec works too damn well. hooked up two controllers to local PC via Xbox Wireless Receiver and #8bitdo adapter, then had someone connect and #Bomberman SNES on #Retroarch was like "cool, 3 players" and no lag.
