Are you interested in building machine learning models in R, but not sure where to start? Look no further than the tidymodels package! In this post, we'll break down a simple code example that demonstrates how to build a linear regression model using tidymodels.

"Eating turnips could help ease vegetable shortage, suggests Therese Coffey"

She's a bloody turnip. How many people actually like the taste of those things? 🤢

I feel the same way about parsnip too..

I have been working on my 📦 {tidyAML} and most likely in a month or so the initial release will be ready. You can however if interested install the current version from now.

In today's post I am going to talk about a function I am thinking of introducing called at the moment argument_matcher().

I have built nice in my {healthyR.ai} to address doing xgboost on the fly without having to mess around to much. It does use the which I think is nice.

Here is a link to the post (should finish deploying it - failed multiple time already) spsanderson.com/steveondata/po

Underappreciated oceanographic tool of the day: the humble parsnip. Back in 1948, Lewis Richardson and Henry Stommel dropped pairs of parsnips into a Scottish loch and watched how each pair floated apart, to study how energy moves through the ocean. It turns out that the parsnip is the perfect ocean surface drifter.

If you want to at the same time then it’s really not to hard. This sort of thing is being addressed in an upcoming of mine called {tidyaml}

The idea?
🧠 Do not create each model spec
🧠 Don't know all the that's ok, filter by something like "linear_reg"
🧠 Don't know all the calls but know that's ok too, filter by something like c("lm","glm","glmnet"...)

pancakes with herb dip served with winter salad with and

Making the pancakes was a bit tricky because there’s only starch and polenta holding them together but it was really worth the struggle 😋🥗🎃

Sometimes we just want to quickly for use in some

With my {healthyR.ai} it is possible to do that for some

Today I posted about hai_xgboost_data_prepper() which prepares data as best as possible for use with

It takes in a object and can be used in conjunction with either the built in functions or with the workflow as it outputs a recipe object.
