#Original #ParticipationIncome model was proposed by the #BritishEconomist #AnthonyAtkinson in 1996. Similar to #UBI but #obliges people to do something in #exchange for #money receives. These activities can #contribute to both the capacity of the community or the individual, like care work or attending language courses. For the most part, claimants know best what activities would be appropriate & it would allow them to engage in a #reciprocal relationship with #society

Our three means of #SocialPolicy to support a #JustTransition, in a nutshell:

1. #Vouchers promote #ClimateAction, protect from price fluctuations, and reduce the effects of #inequality caused by environmental #taxes.

2. #SocialDividend alleviates #poverty and strengthens the just income distribution in a #GreenTransition.

3. #ParticipationIncome supports societally beneficial, ecologically #sustainable activity and strengthens the meaningful #participation possibilities of individuals.
