@BeefGriller Some good solo RPGS:
1 Loner from Roberto Bisceglie (Zotiquest), an easy favorite of mine
3 OneDice Universal, Cakebread and Walton
5 TinyDungeon, TinyFrontiers, etc. from Gallant Knight Games
7 3Deep and SURPS from PartsPerMillion work pretty well for me.
Worth noting: #PartsPerMillion has adaptations or gaming aids designed to help play mainstream RPGs as solo. If you already have a ruleset you like, look there to see if Peter Rubin-Burgess has made a tool to help you play it solo.
While you could technically play any #TTRPG as a #solo game, some are easier than others. Have you ever played chess against yourself? Chess isn't a game that evolved as a solo game. Some RPGs are the same. Most of the OSR games are in this category.
@zdl @ttrpg @Chaosium @TanaPigeonWMG I'll probably buy this and not use it. I might use it too if it's available under #ORC. #PartsPerMillion #solo #TTRPG #oracle

@WelshAdventurer @tankingmage Thank you! I see that as a low-level patron, she didn’t tell us about it.
There are a lot of good #oracle versions out there besides #Mythic, of course. I never got along well with GME, but learned about #soloRPG from Mythic. #KenWickham and #PartsPerMillion and others are worth exploring.

@AetherEgo I started#RPG with the originalWhite Box back in the 70s, but #SoloRpg didn’t seem to exist as a separate thing until recently. I tried #Mythic and some success, experimented with #RisusRPG and others that really need multiplayer interaction.
#KenWickham, #PartsPerMillion, and later Mythic helped a lot and taught me I could play almost any ruleset solo.
True joy for me came with #PbtA and the 'move' mechanic. The most recent boon is #Zoser and that approach.
