After many hours pass and she has time to reflect. She admits it's on her and there was nothing I could do to prevent it. She is still very testy but is in a cooperative state of mind. I honestly see this as progress but the sitting on the floor waiting takes me back to my childhood. Should I have done more than just clean her up and put her to bed? What could I have done differently all those years ago? What am I doing differently now?
