Sick w stomach flu the last 4 days. It’s getting quite old… was hoping to be better today & start work again but still ill this morning. So HB says I must rest. TBH I’m tired & don’t mind the rest (I obviously need it) but I have so much work to do.

This is such a strange sight. I was a BMO customers when I lived in Canada, but I never expected #BMO (aka #BankOfMontréal) to show up in the US. Of course, hardly anyone knows what BMO stands for. But they can now be found in Walgreen's Pharmacies.

Good morning from #Pasadena. A tiny bit cooler today, technically, with a high of 34ºc (93ºF.) Up early to finish packing garden waste into the bins for pick up. I only send waste which contains invasive plants with the potential of sprouting and spreading or that contain seeds. The rest I compost in-place with a technique called #Hügelkultur, but my technique also includes deep depressions that I fill with biomass then cover up. Off to get some work done. Happy #HumpDay!

Good morning fr #Pasadena. How busy last week was 🙄 . Been clearing trees between our house & one of our neighbors, now that they’ve agreed to it 👍- TONS of work. Plus the heat just starting again and several medical appointments both last and this week.

Her son reached out to me, so they don't have to ask me twice though it may take a bit longer to hire someone for the 2 larger trees thanks to Hilary but I won't hold it against her given all the free water we got.

Liquids only today as I’m due at the colonoscopy center at 6:45am. But everything fine; a bit hungry but working on losing weight anyway 😂

If in SoCal, stay home & safe; roads will be treacherous with this unseasonal very wet weather. But sweet to be saving some 💰 on water. AND in August… unheard of here!

Moses on the mend but not too excited about first the cone of shame and then the surgery recovery suit because he kept trying to pull out the wound drain with his back claws. Drain to come out Monday but 13 days left of the cone and likely recovery suit. Sorry, Moses! It’s a full time occupation watching him atm.

The #nortonsimonmuseumpasadena is free to visit on the first Friday of the month from 4pm-7pm. We haven’t been in a good few years. It’s not our fave arty place to visit in the LA area but it is worth a visit as it has a variety of art by a bunch of well known painters even though they may not be the best known pieces. Some sculptures by Henry Moore are reason enough for me.
