If you are suggesting that it’s probable that those deaths are from #PASC/#LongCovid, then I agree, but I would still call them COVID deaths. It’s important to get the public to understand that the actual risks of infection are very much long term and to accurately convey the reality of the virus.

Over 900 ICD-10 codes are included in possible clinical presentations of #LongCovid or #PASC (Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19). These fall into several distinct clusters. It's most likely that PASC isn't a single disorder, and that different treatments will be effective in different subtypes of PASC.

Symptoms today: extreme breathlessness, can't say more than a few words at a time. I got 2 zone minutes just shambling to the bathroom and back. #BrainFog.

But on the plus side: much less pain and discomfort after enduring a week of pain and pain meds!

I've been able to do 15 minutes of very gentle, slow stretches the last two days and I think that's helped the pain.

Today I'm taking it easy with the family and resting up before the work week starts again tomorrow.

it is hard to think or do anything. I wait for doctor's appointments, I wait to hear about my long covid clinic referral, I'm broke and dependent on my spouse, my medical history is too limited to apply for aid.

I take vitamins, monitor blood pressure, go outside every day to get a little sun and move small things around in the yard, and try to read and paint, but mostly sleep. It got easier for a little bit, but now it is more difficult.

There's no content warning on this as I believe it is necessary information for everyone.

I'm extremely tired of people who know me, and who don't, asking me if, or straight up affirming, I'm "getting better".

That I can walk 3 years after a SARS-CoV-2 "mild" infection as much as I did before doesn't mean I'm better.

It means I've learnt to walk while having fever, joint pain, migraine, hemorrhages, abdominal pain, dizziness, nausea, and more.

No one with #PASC has been cured of it as yet.

After Covid-caused plan changes for the last three years, I'm hopeful this will be my first in-person #pasc conference.

Ended up in the ER yesterday choking; low oxygen levels. 3rd time this year, 2nd for this, the first ER of the year was because of persistent & worrying heart issues. + plenty more problems.

3 years after an extremely "mild" case that's developed into full-blown disabling PASC -- for which there is no treatment, no cure or protection, even if vaccinated of having had COVID before.

Was the picture of fit & healthy until this.
