Using fair language is important for OpenProject. However, like most things when it comes to deadlines, task juggling, and other important matters, this topic has not yet received the attention it deserves.

Day 2 of @openproject #passiontime is over. My achievements so far:
- PoC for GitHub Primer CSS and ViewComponents in OpenProject.
- PoC that overwrites Primer's Primitives selectively with OpenProject's theme colors.
- PoC for dark and high contrast themes.

Conclusion:

It still appears that Primer could work as a design system for OpenProject. It would also facilitate dark theming significantly. However there are many weeks if work necessary to make it great.

The best time of the year at @openproject just started, the #passiontime: two weeks in which all employees can skip the roadmap and work on whatever they their passion for OpenProject drives them to. The only conditions are that it needs to be completed and pass all quality checks. The hard part is to decide on what to work on, too many ideas.
