Still blown away by the Wissahickon and incredibly grateful to live so close to it now! Especially since we’re still in the city and only a bus ride away from Center City

Had a lovely bike ride in the Wiss today! Feels very validating to have moved so close to a forested state park. Excited to be a 10-minute ride from that every day!

Article in newspaper looks at activities in PA state parks, kayaking, rock climbing & Ice Climbing in several parks, times have changed. I remember teaching rock climbing in a PA state park & telling the park ranger what rock climbing was and how it was done. Offered to include the ranger in the class but was declined.
