I think that is a very fair point. I would venture to suggest that much of the apparent cultural difference between the #English and the others is simply the delayed effect of the former having relied much more on #agriculture than #pastoralism in the past.

For no particular reason except its loveliness, here's a late #Neolithic vase from southern Spain formed as a fat, contented cow. It’s so satisfyingly rounded and balanced that maybe the potter who hand-made it c3000 BC just loved prehistoric #pastoralism too.
