- the youngest kids argue almost exclusively for not what their parents want
- children deploy appeals to (other adults) and (their parent's prior logic in another context), perhaps because they know that their own views will not be taken as seriously as adults’ or their parents’ in their setting.

One doesn't need to be a radical anarchist (I am not) to acknowledge these concerns:
