I've been trying to play #pathologic2 for awhile. Namely two or so years. Bugs and glitches have made it so hard and at times impossible.

But I still try. It's such a brilliant game. The definition of a flawed gem. I do not recommend it if you want a good time, but if you are up for one hell of an experience, this is it.

I'm on a Zoom call and I really remind myself of Big Vlad from #pathologic2. I look more like him than his own son.

Right now I can't stop thinking about the video game #Pathologic2. It's about being a doctor returning to home in a Russian Steppe town when a plague breaks out. The story is amazing, but I like to geek out about the #GameMechanics.

Your stamina and thirst are tracked by one bar. As you run your stamina goes down and refills when you're not running. As your thirst increases the bar gets smaller, reducing your total stamina, until you drink.

I played #Pathologic2 in March 2020 as I recovering from COVID.

Player Character: The plague is coming! Do something! Stay inside!
Town: Mmmmm I dunno man
*Plague hits*
Town: Hey you uhhh, got any of those homemade vaccines?

Me: Wow, so unrelatable. /sarcasm

I can't stop thinking about #Pathologic2's mechanics. The use of one bar to represent thirst and stamina makes so much sense. When you sprint your stamina bar goes down. When you get thirsty your stamina bar shrinks until you drink more. It also uses a similar method to track infection and immunity to the plague. It makes the game much more immersive imo.

It's of Lara! I really like her character personality and design in the second game (which is a refurbished telling of the OG game)
She's tough as nails but does whatever she can for charitable causes, sometimes to her detriment if yall know that one sidequest

i played day 1 and half of day 2 of #pathologic2 and it's great to feel awful. And that beats EVERYTHING on the worst end that either doesn't work or works against you.
