Miami is scary as a #Pats fan when you play them early in the season in Miami and hot weather.

I'd much rather see them in New England, especially this time of year. That was extra true when Tom was still QB. He always played best in cold weather IMCO.

#Pats pick up Matt Corral from waivers. Now he's QB2 to Jones.

With Zappe and Cunningham already on the practice squad, that's a big sign that they think Corral can pick up the playbook before Mac gets hurt.

That would leave Zappe fighting with Cunningham for a QB3 fallback role on the 16 -- and in that situation, I think he may lose out to Cunningham.

Zappe > Malik for a QB2 role because he's there now.

BUT --> Malik > Zappe for QB3 for longer term practice squad slot.

Preseason 1 tonight at 7. Good chance to see the newbies and also see how far Bill O'Brien has got putting the offense back together after last year's C.F.

Mostly I'm posting this to try to revive these hashtags and get a community going.

As for the prediction, well, that's just someone's opinion. It means nothing. Just cheer your #Pats on and enjoy the season.

So the #Patriots didn't get D-HOP. Okay. It would have been great to see Mac have someone like that to throw to.

BUT... Can't say I'm super upset. Yeah, it could have been a big help this season, IF he could get up to speed soon enough. IF he could stay healthy. Neither of those is easy to count on.

He was clearly asking for the moon with his contract, and sinking that kind of money was limit things in other wise.

Let's see what happens between now and December.
