My Wordle score as the number of people in a painting. Today it's the heavily romanticised 'Execution of Lady Jane Grey' by Paul Delaroche, fictionalising the last moments of the teenager (Jane was either 16 or 17) who was proclaimed Queen of England for 9 days in 1553. A great example of 19th century historical painting. Dramatic, technically exquisite and wrong on the facts. These elements made such paintings popular at the time and then passé soon after.
