Having spent yesterday with Mum in A&E, they kept her in overnight, we spent most of today there with her again, waiting for her to be discharged into respite, rehab place. Sitting around waiting is more stressful and tiring than you realise. The place she's gone to seems lovely, really attentive staff. I felt confident leaving her. Hopefully she'll be back home Monday. I think she's a bit worried we're leaving her there for good 🥰🤣

All the legislation in world won’t translate into more nurses, doctors, rail staff, teachers, ambulance crews. The sight of the likes of Johnson & Sunak clapping for the nhs was sickening, like they were deliberately rubbing the nhs workers’ noses in it, in that clapping is all they’ll get from these Tory arseholes.
