Via the American Payroll Association - funny not funny, but true. Goes for any country, really - once we finish out reporting not he previous tax year, then someone says Hey! I moved last year and forgot to tell you!

Here's my latest Payroll Insights podcast - a podcast for professionals and analysts. This one is all about creating and maintaining a stable payroll process/system. Not always as easy and straightforward to do that when we are faced with so many complex changes and demands. Enjoy!

Nice to see more global payroll improvements from at - they are addressing some real pain points and areas that need improvement, like -

- Enhancements to analytics - adding story boards
- Intelligent self-service - based on analytics and country-specific requirements to guide employees to the right answers. Rolling out first to the US and then elsewhere.
- Integrations - adding global payroll APIs - yes! Let’s get rid of those G2 flat files and get some modern integrations
- Streamlining implementations - prepopulating some blueprints, even rolling out a more agile approach
- Variance insights - help optimize payroll validation process by making it easier to spot and remedy variances
- More functionality to monitor the integrations, spot errors and so on - good to see

Not all of this is available everywhere right now, of course. But it will be rolled out globally over time. It’s good to see this continuous improvement.

First day of - good speakers, good representation from leadership. Hearing familiar concerns, and some complaints, from customers in the breakout sessions. And familiar empathy and promises of improvement from ADP. In fairness, they have improved. And customers want them to go faster and further, expecting consistency, stability and quality. It’s a fine balance, one that I think ADP is getting right.
