Nine years ago today, the Government of the #Philippines (GPH) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) signed the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), culminating 17 years of long and arduous peace negotiations. The CAB led to the establishment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and its interim government, the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA), which reflect the dreams and aspirations of the Bangsamoro people. #PeaceProcess

Recently, the members of the national and Bangsamoro governments' Intergovernmental Relations Body (IGRB) convened for its twelfth meeting, its first under the Marcos administration.

The IGRB is provided under Section 2, Article VI of the Bangsamoro Organic Law, the landmark measure that aims to provide a genuine autonomy in the Bangsamoro region.
