Me: That after photo the shelter shared of #PeanutTheFosterKitten? I’m wearing one of Walt’s t-shirts…the one with bats [he collected pithy or interesting tees and I got part of his collection when he died]

Mom: He would love to be a tiny part of a great promotion for a sweet kitten.

Walt (step dad) loved cats but they never had any after they married because of her allergies. I used to bring Sadie and later fosters over to visit him.

“Several weeks” was actually 6 weeks. 🤣 He was 8.48 oz when he came to me and 1.8# when he went back. In between, he and his mom tried to die on me.
