Despite its truly awful title, KS’s second album achieves minor grandeur by lacing anthemic choruses, such as “The Great Hosannah,” with gospel inflections – along with Crispian Mills’ ongoing fixation with Indian cadences & instruments (often dismissed as affection, although there’s nothing here The Beatles and Donovan weren’t doing in 1967).
