Put #gratefuldead on radio then remembered he needed to finish deck gate and stringers on an "invisible" fence, a 1/8 inch stainless wire with turnbuckles. "Eyes Of the World" comes on. The deck wires are all now tuned to E major.

I like all your posts, but these clips of playing are great. Thank you. I looked back and my first real guitar was a Conn, nylon string, found an image of the model online. I think I gave it away. I am a tinkerer too and am trying to rework the pedals on the #pedalsteelguitar to work with bicycle clip shoes. I must keep it all mechanical. The up/down with the springs sucks. An old Carter with Zane Beck fretboard and knee levers.

Getting ready for Johnny Cash birthday shows in February at the #MarigoldTheater in #EasthamptonMA and the #ShutesburyAthleticClub! Much of the Cash I've heard doesn't really have steel guitar in it, so it's an interesting challenge in some ways. Some songs have horn sections, however, so I'm having fun figuring out those on pedal steel.
