I didn't expect to be watching the first episode of season 3 of 'The Mandalorian' straight away. But actually, I didn't want to wait. I'm hooked. I think 'Andor' is the far superior series, but 'The Mandalorian' is just so fun. It's classic Star Wars, the writing is super tight, it's not trying to be anything profound, and still manages to hit those nerves and feels. It doesn't sacrifice plot and character for nostalgia and fan service, but there's fan service a plenty just by virtue of a Mandalorian and a Yoda species being the main characters. It has added Katee Sackhoff as if Pedro Pascal"s voice wasn't enough.
