What with somnambulant people wandering about the mountain and a stone age encampment made of bones in a forest outside a ruined and abandoned city, there's a lot going on for such a remote place.

60. #13thAge (#Pelgrane) - The last session in this campaign that started as one shot last October. The PCs bust out of the mine and fight the dwarven constructs in their mech! This ends in a tussle against a battlebot armed with twin chainswords. They shoot its legs out and slowly wittle it down before the Commander/Druid calls down lighting and destroys it. The blowback takes out the PCs mech too but they win and free the mine for the Drow to takeover. Epilogues all round.

50. #13thAge (#Pelgrane) - All five PCs back tonight. They infiltrate the dwarven mines via the meteor tunnel and see what the constructs are up to. They find the big statue and get inside, there's a centurion in there and some spiders who take down the ranger, but he's soon back and they have the statue. The Druid is tempted to destroy but instead powers it up with lightning and they are mobile!

50. #13thAge (#Pelgrane) - An advance party return to the Dwarven mines, 9 months on. With the demon spawner disabled, the dwarven machines have triumphed and are now expanding out into the countryside around. This looks bad. The scouts infiltrate the base through a collapsed tunnel and find useful information, but they are spotted and must beat a retreat. The first ever campaign defeat I've witnessed.

And then all manner of loose ends are tied up before crossing back over the sea with the Dark Elves to their promised new underground lair, which seems now to be on fire.

45. #13thAge(#Pelgrane) The two groups meet up and in a desperate fight manage to overcome the cambions, 3 PCs are down, but not out, and a prisoner is captured. It seems the Cambions don't want them to put High Druid heart in the demon flames. They say it will be bad for everyone, and it turns out they might be right. But can a demon be trusted? It's a quandary that can't easily be resolved, more investigation of the demon pit is required.

Wisely ignoring whiffling and burbling, they came across some Zoogs and discovered that being dreamers in the Dreamlands, they could affect their surroundings. Cassie accidentally gave Archie some nipple tassels, and herself a tail. Archie discovered he could understand Zoogs and made an important discovery.

It seemed to have something to do with the Windrush Ritual, even though that had been dispowered. And then, after performing a tale about squirrels to entertain the patrons of the White Whale Inn, to bed and dreams.

40. #Fearful Symmetries (#Pelgrane) - In tonight's session Verity was sought in Ulthar and coincidentally much correlating of contents, a Warwickshire nursery rhyme, an Arabic inscription on a Damascene sword found in Hungary and inscriptions on a long buried chapel in Switzerland all point towards a common cause, but also an opposition between cosmic forces, or at least followers of those forces.

39. #Fearful Symmetries (#Pelgrane) - The road from Dylath-Leen to Ulthar is mostly safe, and then screaming out of the sky, and old foe from the Moon. There is quite a tense battle but with a little help from the caravaneers, a triumph. That's the end of poor old Vredni, probably, as they burned his body by the side of the road. But you just can't tell. And then Ulthar, the hands-on mayor and the Cat General, who can be bought with quite ripe kippers.

35. #Trail of Cthulhu (#Pelgrane) - Part 3 of my game set in Abbots Bromley with much goaty strangeness. Information was discovered that necessitated a visit to the John Rylands Library to consult the restricted tomes, and a meeting with a member of the Stella Matutina. As a result a ritual was performed, which put a stop to the strangeness, although many though already dead died as a result, and the prof now sports a small pair of horns on his forehead. Success!(?).
