Etappe von #Bosherston zum Surferparadies Freshwater East ging es durch ein militärisches Sperrgebiet, dem Castlemartin Range, das normalerweise am Wochenende offen steht und ein paar Highlights beherbergt. Neyland - Haverfordwest Slow Ways completed. Mostly off road on the fairly new Brunel Trail, part of the National Cycle Network. We had a lovely afternoon at Picton Castle #pembrokeshire We only managed to explore about 2/3 of the gardens and have Spanish food for lunch before it was time to watch the owl display. They flew so low over us that they almost touched the top of our heads. Then we looked at all the other amazing birds and the small number of mammals and reptiles there. Here are some pics

So according to my neighbourhood newspaper, Robert Plant showed up in a pub in Solva, #pembrokeshire this week with someone punters thought was Alison Krauss (although they didn’t seem 100% sure). He had a pint and chatted to the locals, throwing in a few Welsh phrases, which impressed them no end. Solva is a pretty small and sleepy place, seems like the hedonistic rock’n’roll are over
