Black and white photographs of mineral trains at Penrhos Junction near Caerphilly are normally steamers.

But this is something a little different! A Class 37 diesel (no. 37217) pictured on 16/4/81 heading for Aber Junction Yard.

I reckon monochrome suits this image very well indeed!
