Nicht mal #Steam will richtig starten.
Ist wohl ein Projekt, dass ich etwas zurückstellen muss.

Obwohl ich schon ein paar #Container und #VirtuelleMaschinen erstellt habe, auf denen schon manches läuft, sogar mit großzügiger Ressourcenvergabe, tut mein #Proxmox Server quasi gar nichts. Der #PiZero hat ja schon bei #Vaultwarden geschwächelt.
Ich hatte schon Angst, der #Pentium reicht nicht. Allerdings habe ich noch gar nicht alles eingerichtet, was ich wollte.

Une chose de faite dans la todo-list, redémarrer ce vieux PC qui n'a pas été allumé depuis au moins 20 ans : eh bien il fonctionne parfaitement ! Bon, le disque dur fait un peu des bruits étranges de temps en temps mais pour l'instant rien qui crashe.
Il y a un Windows 99 dessus qui avec pas grand chose d'installé.

The day of returning...
To the #x64 architecture, after 7 years of #ARM. A lot cheaper than the #Mac Mini and a lot faster than the #raspberrypi. Nostalgic about the phased out #pentium name.
To #windows after 24 years of #linux and a bit of #macos. I used windows 98, now it is windows 11 - I don't know what to make of that.
To dual boot, of course we need #linux for learning #programming. #ubuntu installed flawlessly alongside.
When I was young I cared about which camp to belong to. Now I just want to solve problems. We needed a cheap and cheerful #retrogaming, #scratch programming little computer.

Mit Pentium III-CPUs aus dem vorigen Jahrhundert. Noch mit Diskettenlaufwerk. Damals High-tech, heute eher ein Museumsstück.

The FIC PT-2000 motherboard I purchased as untested with unknown CPU showed up today. It has an Intel Pentium 75MHz. Still need to do standard checks before doing the first power on.
