The Pentlands 'Management Association' are scarrying on screwing down on access which has led to the 2023 run (scheduled for October) being cancelled. This comes on top of existing efforts to restrict activities in the area by the association that have been widely reported.

The Pentlands were nice today. Dressed appropriately for drizzle, but never really came down.
Shocking route to get out there, and lost count at the number of vehicles parked on double yellows in the occasional bike lane.
Still a good 52km today. Really in need of some stretching though. As fun as this bike is, I’m really looking forward to a new build soon.

Bopard meeting in Edin burgh, so we had an after meeting stretch over the Pentlands (that is Glencourse in the distance).

You can see away towards Peebles at the beginning, then out to the west and then north across the Forth, then round to Edinburgh then East Lothian and the other main hills in the range.
