My son and I were somewhere in LA yesterday and we were just so impressed that Los Angeles has solved its homeless problem just by embedding rocks in concrete so no one can rest here. So innovative. Now there will be no homeless people anywhere. Since I got up this morning I’ve had 5 conversations with 5 different close friends about things they were going through in their lives from work to health. It felt great to be able to be there for them. Just to listen and support.

I find myself not always making the time because of work/travel or just my own shit so today it was great setting time aside for each one (async and via voice notes).

So, if you can make the space for it— be there for someone today 🤍

But what I saw was a concerned business owner devastated by what had happened to the people in their team and doing their best to address a bad situation.

I'm impressed. It's regrettable that so many people had to go through the wringer for so long before something was done about it, but I'm impressed by the way it was dealt with nonetheless.
