As a #UCBerkeley undergrad back in the early 1980s, it was my wild luck to get scarce student housing that enabled me to attend #Cal and get my degree.

While there, I could sympathize with activists hoping to prevent housing in #PeoplesPark even though, truth be told, as "open spaces" go, it's an intimidating place to go hang out.

And student housing has just gotten scarcer. At this point, the saga needs to be resolved--build or not. Stop kicking this down the road.
