What means that in brief?

It's an alphabetical list, each item of which is preceded by the apostrophe. A list of what, who can say? ॰॰॰On #PeppermintOS, it just drops to a ">" precursor. On #LinuxMint, same. Weird, #RaspberryPi, weird.

Recently I made the switch from Windows to Linux and settled on Linux Mint instead of Debian 12 for simplicity’s sake. However, since switching I’ve found out about Peppermint OS, and am interested in trying that out. So many distros, so little time.

@codemonkeymike #nixOS (and future updates) will fit in 16GB? I'd imagine a few browser updates and generations and space would be gone.

I've upgraded 2 CB's myself. One I replaced the 8gb drive with a 128gb drive and it's currently got #voidlinux. The other I left a 16gb drive in and have #PeppermintOS currently, #antixlinux previously.

Hab' gestern von meinem #PeppermintOS die Quellen in "testing" geändert. Danach xfce deinstalliert und mit Cinnamon bestückt. Jetzt hab' ich ein Debian Testing. Von Peppermint keine Spur mehr. 😳

Fedora war nie meins, und von *buntu bin ich schon lange weg.
Nach jahrelangen Experimenten hab' ich mich auf #Debian eingeschossen. Ist halt einfach unkaputtbar. Zum Experimentieren auf dem Laptop nutze ich #EndeavourOS also genau das Gegenteil.

Today marks ten years since I first installed a #GNU/Linux distro on a used laptop I bought inexpensively on eBay, and used the rig as my daily driver. I switched less as a matter of disdain for Windows than as a fun burst into #opensource sharing culture. At first I ran #Fedora with a light #LXDE desktop. Eventually I came to prefer long-term support lightweight #Debian based derivatives like (then) #Ubuntu based #PeppermintOS and Debian-based #Q4OS.
I run #Linux because it works for me.

Ich hab's mit #Peppermintos vom USB-Stick installiert, denn da ist der Brave Browser drauf. Der Bildschirm (Browser) ist immer mal wieder abgedunkelt, vermutlich weil der Speicher bis auf's Äußerste gequält wurde. Ich hab' Blut und Wasser geschwitzt. 😜 Hat dann ca. 1/2 Std. gedauert bis zum ersten Booten.
