As someone who's #ActuallyVisuallyImpaired, I'm happy that more people are understanding the importance of #ImageDescriptions. I'd be equally happy if those same people remembered that #VisuallyImpaired people post images too, and aren't always able to add adequate descriptions. Treating image descriptions like a virtue that separates good people from bad people is #PerformativeActivism, and not the slightest bit appreciated. We don't exist to make you feel better about yourself.
