We studied if there is a #HealthyImmigrantEffect for reproductive outcomes.
We found little evidence of it, apart from a few groups from high income countries. Those from the poorest countries had the worst outcomes.
Overall, global inequalities seem to reproduce themselves as reproductive health inequalities among migrants.

This. I didn't suffer (x3) and consider taking my life for nothing! Hence, Ingram Screening! Where there's light, there's shadows! Only 20% of the perinatal population is screened for #Perinatal #Mood & #Anxiety #Disorders (PMADs) like depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc. We have a crisis on our hands with #suicide being a leading cause of #maternal death in the first year #postpartum. Screening can help identify and mitigate these stats. It's possible to both love #parenting and be miserable at the same time. We need to screen early and often with an approved and validated tool.
