I didn't like the show at first, because there was so many instances that I felt were implausible for the Victorian era.

But I just finished up season 2 and I have to admit it is growing on me. I think the characters are coming together well and that helps with the suspension of disbelief.

Finished the series portion of .

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the finest shows of all times. It wasn't all sunshine & roses, but the bulk of it was still engaging and enthralling.
