Liberal Democrats have made sure to be inclusive when talking about period poverty. This has, of course, upset a number of people, but it's good to see a political party being inclusive.

In South Africa, Tamara Magwashu has developed a business selling period products at affordable costs. The business also has a charitable arm which uses a proportion of profits to supply pads for free to schools in rural areas. "Period poverty is not a women's issue, it's a societal issue and until we can understand that we are not going to move forward."
