Since Clue went to sh*t and is now both completely useless and constantly pushing pregnancy stuff, I'm pleased to report I've found an open source period tracker called Drip from a German developer called Bloody Health, top marks all round
I designed this digital period tracker for Adenomyosis Awareness Month. You can have it free if you subscribe to my email list:

The link also includes a slower version of this video, for tips on how to use the tracker.

I still use a #PeriodTracker app, and it popped up an amazing insight! A little tab all about #perimenopause. (Like, "What is perimenopause?" level.) It actually spoke the taboo! All it took was a 70-day cycle. Thanks, period tracker!
Governor Abbott, if you're reading my data, please refer to the "What is perimenopause?" tab before sending Rangers over.
Genuine question.
Is there any reason people don't like a pen and paper #PeriodTracker ?
[en] The Mama Sophia app is dedicated to providing accurate and reliable support so that people can make informed decisions as experts on their sexual and reproductive health. Also only in English, privacy safe, data not stored outside of phone. no tracking. Even has an app disguise feature. https://sophia.mamanetwork.org/ #abortion #periodtracker #mamanetwork #srhr

What would folks want in a #PeriodTracker ? I may be able to whip up an Android app that keeps all data on-device, but I'm curious what features matter to folks. (Feel free to boost for visibility)

I don't own a uterus, so I'm not the best source for this.
Uterus-owning devs, please sound off.
I just looked, and there is exactly one #PeriodTracker on #Fdroid. This one ( https://f-droid.org/packages/de.arnowelzel.android.periodical/ ). At a glance, it looks safe, privacy-respecting ... but it doesn't sound (to me—see above) like the best choice for general-purpose period-tracking.
Are there other private period-trackers out there? Is anyone working on others? Want help?
What else is lacking in the FOSS-world in this sphere?

New blog post about #RoeVsWade. This post contains some tips about how to stay safe when researching abortion or using a #PeriodTracker, since I saw a lot of FUD and misinformation about this topic.
