4️⃣ The episode is full of quirky little touches, clearly meant to evoke The Avengers. Most fall flat.
5️⃣ Also, an inordinate amount of screentime is given to policemen working the case. But they serve no purpose in the story. All their scenes could easily be cut. They’re just a waste of time. And one of these ruddy limey coppers is played by #PernellRoberts, diligently pouring himself into a strong English accent. Cor blimey, guvnor!
6️⃣ Pretty sure this is the only sub-par episode in Season Three.
