I’m glad that our school board approved #Persepolis to be part of core curriculum for 11th grade students.

I finally finished this graphic novel. I’d had to stop reading with less than 50 pages until the end and finally got the chance to sit down and finish it. This is the second graphic novel memoir that I’ve read. The other was George Takei’s They Called Us Enemy.

I’m glad to report that our school board approved this graphic novel memoir for use in 11th grade curriculum.

I’m about 65% through #Persepolis, and so far it’s quite sad, but an important story that I’ve never heard before from a unique point of view.

Odotettu ja erittäin mieluisa työtehtävä alkamassa kun pääsen tutustumaan Persepolis -sarjakuvaan ja -animaatioon.
