Wrote this back in 2010 when I first starting getting the feeling that I was less-than-welcome within the greater community of writers and poets (especially in the SF&F world). I now realise I'm not truly of their tribe; I'm of the artists tribe. Guess I did find my way in the end, just not in the writing world.
