Nine weeks today since my mother died.

I'm energised and overwhelmingly tired by turns, and time is strangely telescoped - her death seems simultaneously much further away and uncomfortably close.

I got dressed up today and spent a bit of time an hour away with a friend on her birthday, I had the genuine pleasure of bringing new dragonflies into her world in the form of a natty tote bag.

The day wore me out, but it was good to get out of the house and spend time with Hubs and Cully.
